1. Go to the web page http://munnscience.weebly.com/reflection--refraction-lab.html

2. Click on "Intro".

3. The setup should be in the mode "Ray", Materia in the top part as "air", material in the

bottom part as "water".

4. Click on the red button on the laser generator on the top of the left corner of the

simulation.

5. Measure the incident angle (?) record in the first column "incident angle (?)" in the table.

6. Calculate the sin ? value and record it in the next column.

7. Measure the refraction angle (?) and record it in the column " Refraction angle (?)"

8. Calculate the sin ? and record it in the column " Sin ?"9. Change the incident angle by dragging the laser generator to the desired point, and repeat

the steps 5 through 9. (should have at least 6 values in the table)

10. Draw the graph Sin ? Vs Sin ? (Sin ? in Y axis and Sin ? in X axis)

11. Write the equation of the line.

12. Use the slope of the graph to calculate the speed of light in water.
