Henry is about to move into a new house and needs to arrange to have the internet connected. After doing some research about the best internet plans and providers, he contracts an internet supplier ('the supplier') and applies to become a customer via an online application form, which contains the supplier's terms and conditions of supply. As part of his application, Henry is required to tick that he has consented to these terms and conditions and there is no opportunity to negotiate them. Alternatively, if he does not agree to them, his application is not able to be submitted. Henry does 'tick' his consent and the supplier agrees to provide the internet to his house from an agreed date.
