herbivores are known to rapidly evolve resistance to genetically modified corn. To determine if genetic modification is effective against predators (earworms) modified and standard corn are thus planted in random adjacent plots within a single field. The amount of predators (earworms) present in each are then measured and recorded. this data is shown below.
