Here is a portion of a spreadsheet that represents a customer order placed with a company that manufactures and sells winter clothing. Currently the firm offers only hats, gloves, and boots but they are planning to expand into other products as well For each product ordered the quantity ordered and the unit price are shown in Columns B and C, respectively. For orders that total more than $300, an 8% discount is applied to the total shown on Line 12. The amount of this discount is placed on Line 14. Otherwise, Line 14 should show a 0. Shipping costs are 7% of the total order (before any discount is applied). In other words, any discount does NOT affect shipping costs. Your Task: Fill in ALL the blank cells in Column D with FORMULAS (not numbers). There are seven (7) blank cells altogether. Your formulas should work even if the data change. Important A. Write your formulas for the three rows (hats, gloves, and boots) in such a way that it will be easy for someone to expand the spreadsheet for additional items such as scarves or coats by copying the formulas for hats or gloves downward. B. Write your formula for the Total (line 12) so that it would require as little change as possiblo if additional clothing items were added. (Hint: Think about the best way to do this.) C. Write formulas that will work properly even if the data were different.
