Here is a question.. food for thought. Say someone or a group of people quit their jobs so they can solely start a not for profit organization for kids in the community. With grants, would they be able to earn a living. Donations used as profit would qualify as personal liability and a form 990 would need to be filed which creates negative media from donors and they could potentially lose their tax ecempt status by the IRS.
