in your Ubuntu Server, in the home directory, create a folder called FileServer. In This folder are two shared folders, VPOffice and Systems for the users to share their files and groups to impliment permissions.
(be careful of working permissions and use of octal-value permissions)
for each number, post the corresponding commands:
1- Create the folder /VPOffice (cio and vpfinance should have FULL ACCESS, everyone else has NO ACCESS):
2- Create a group for VPOffice and users vpfinance:
3- Create the folder /Systems (cio and techadmin should have FULL ACCESS and vpfinance and hradmin should have READ-ONLY ACCESS):
4-Create a group for Systems and add cio and techadmin:
5- Assign permissions to the folders:
6-Create a folder in the root of the /FileServ folder called Public so that all 4 of the users above can ADD FILES, but CANNOT DELETE files they DO NOT OWN.
7-Modify the techadmin user to expire account in 30 days
Previous answer didn't allow anyone to access Systems directory. Please help!
