Do you think that the mean is sensitive to the presenceof extreme values? Explain. The mean is one of three measures of central tendency which involves each point in the data set. If the values are higher on one side of the mean then this causes it to be very sensitive to extreme values.

Can you provide an example of 10 observations (data points) where you calculate the mean and then take those same points and add a value that is considered an outlier and perform the mean again? This would show an example to support your claim here.
