NOTES: I am currently taking a program/course in Hospitality and restaurant in a well known institution in canada.

In class I talked about the importance of setting campaign goals and objectives when doing any marketing planning.. And I used a very simple graphic chart to illustrate the process and how goals and objectives can be created even for personal projects as in learning to play the piano, write computer code, learn carpentry, how to play tennis, whatever you want to be able to do. Use the chart on the next page - slide 4 from Week 10 - Marketing Objectives and Strategies PowerPoint in the Week 10 Leaning Module to help you with the following: Select something that you would like to do in your personal or student life - anything that you want to improve or something that you would like to do - anything - take another college or university program, learn ball room dancing, learn another language, learn how to skate, snowboard, downhill ski, play tennis, - anything that has been in your mind for awhile but you haven't figured out how to start the process. After you select what you want to do list the following in order: (point form is fine). Overall goal - what is it that you would like to accomplish? what is the outcome that you desire? What us your strategy /game plan to get this done? What are your objectives (list 2) or benchmarks to measure how you are doing in your efforts? What are your activities/tactics (list 2) to help achieve your objectives above? Think before your write.
