In addition, he has an income of m per day from unearned income sources. The cost of consumption goods is 1 per unit. a) If the wage rate is DE, how many hours will he choose to spend for leisure and work? in) If the wage rate is 8 per hour, how many hours will he choose to spend for leisure and work? c) If Andrew's unearned income drops to mf3 per day but the wage rate remains unchanged at 8E1, will his optimal working hours he the same as in part(b)? d) Suppose Andrew has to pay income tax of 20% on all of his income, and his pre-tax wage is 8 per hour and his unearned pre-tax income is 20E per day. Calculate the optimal working hours and the optimal consumption. e) Suppose there is no income tax and Andrew is paid 10%? for every extra hour he works over 8 hours a day. Assume that his unearned income is m again. What is his optimal working time? Moreover, calculate and compare utility levels for optimal bundles for higher and standard wage rates
