Hey everyone. I can say that I was affected by unemployment in 2020 when Covid first hit. I was pregnant and I couldn't really work at all because I caught Covid twice while pregnant. They were also cutting people hours because everything was closing. I was working at a schools being the nurse at that time and by me being pregnant at the rate was so high that I had to go part time and apply for unemployment. That's was around the time they was shutting everything down and the kids was doing virtual. I had to find me a work from home job fast. But until I could do that I was getting unemployment because I was only getting like 300 a week with the job because we wasn't really in school only to test. I never took a job which I was over qualified because I barely could work anyways and also was a medical assistant at the time that I had to downgrade my pay and all. It was a seasonal job until I can have my baby and after that I stopped working form them. Still til this day unemployment is high because some employers require
