Add color, pictures, sound, etc. SAMPLE OUTLINE INTRODUCTION \& OVERVIEW The Project 2018 resort is a 500 property located along the famous Route 66 highway in northern Arizona. The property experiences a temperate climate year round, and is known for clean rooms and excellent food. Our management group, Peter, Paul \& Mary, have managed the property for the past three years and are presenting our results. FINANCIAL OVERVIEW During the three years 2015 to 2017 , the resort grew total revenues by 16% from $15 million to $17 million. The greatest growth was in the rooms department, to be detailed separately. Unfortunately, overall expenses also grew by 3.5%, leading to only an 11% profits gain the same time frame. Greater detail follows in the Departmental Overviews. ROOMS DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW We were able to grow total room revenues by $200,000 (a 2% growth) by adjusting our market mix from wholesale to transient (explain differences in ADR \& occupancy.) Along with the revenue growth, additional expenses in guest supplies, linens \& payroll were a result of the increased occupancy. FOOD DEPARTMENT Same type of detail ALL OTHER DEPARTMENTS Same type of detail ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT Detail any significant changes in expenses (increase or decrease) and why they happened. Don't just put in numbers. Explain why you think they occurred. Example: Increases in payroll benefit costs due to higher medical insurance premiums. SALES DEPARTMENT Same thing MAINTENANCE One more time Any significant changes? Inventory? Receivables? How much \& why? RETAINED EARNINGS How much in dividends were paid? How much not paid \& why SUMMARY Two or three sentences to wrap everything up.
