Hi$,$ can someone explain what is the proper benchmark for emerging market mutual fund? let's say i$\text{'}$m picking the coronation top $20$ in south africa so how to determine the right benchmark for this? is it ETF or what. I also need to see the benchmark vs fund allocation on each industry sectors at least $3$ periods $($can be yearly, quarterly, or monthly$).$ Using LSEG $($refinitive$)$ or morning star, is there any tutorial to do it$?$

For context i already tried to find index as benchmark but i can't see the holding in different year through LSEF or morningstar. so i was wondering is the proper benchmark ETF instead of index like s&p $500.$
