Another great post! Food transactions have a lot of complexity with international business transactions. There must be many laws protecting consumers when it comes to international transactions with perishable foods. For example, between 2017 and 2019, 900 products were intercepted and rejected due to labeling, and harmful contaminates (CBC, 2019). Do Canadian laws need to be stricter with certain countries and industries?
