Hi everybody, happy week 1! My name is Molli and I live in PA! I am a Leadership and Organization major and will also will be gaining my certificate in Food Science & Safety. I work at an Italian meat manufacturer as a Quality Specialist and I really love the work I do (maybe not so much in meat but the work as a whole!) Outside of work and school, I really enjoy working out and learning new languages. I've become pretty fluent in Spanish and have been gaining a lot of Italian words and phrases as well.
I did some research on the Riipen project and it seems very interesting because it gives students the situations and role-plays of real employment. I'm not necessarily skeptical about this project, but I do believe this will take a lot of time and effort - I do truly think however this will allow me to gain some experience that I am not familiar with! A best practice that I thought was super helpful and that I actually have been doing much more often is keeping a to-do list so that I am able to keep up with my tasks and time management skills! This is super important for me because I tend to solve problems at the time they happen, and sometimes they happen in the middle of something I'm working on - I will fix the problem - and forget what I was working on. Keeping a to-do list is definitely one of the most helpful tricks to managing and prioritizing your tasks!
Very excited to have class with all of you and see all of your posts these next 6 weeks!

thank you
