Hi I am having a challenging time coming up with a response to Post 1 and Post 2 (in paragraph form) based on the following criteria.

Post 1

To define privacy, you really must know what area you are wanting to focus on. With my current position I choose to focus on privacy as a law. Privacy is the protection against unauthorized access and disclosure of personal information. It is getting harder and harder to protect this privacy with social media and many peoples' lives being out in the open for the world to see. Maintaining an appropriate level of security and establishing the foundation of policies to protect the privacy of individuals is necessary to uphold my definition.

Post 2

Privacy to me centers around having the autonomy to decide what information or possessions are private and having the ability to keep them private. Whether it is our personal identification information, such as date of birth or SSN, or communications between friends we want to keep these out of the hands and eyes of those we deem untrustworthy or unknown. With our lifestyles moving more to a digital platform it becomes harder to ensure we maintain the level of privacy we had before. While before there were physical barriers now there are digital and the attacks to get through and farm this data are more sophisticated that the average person is left in the dust and at the whim of a company's security practices.
