As a new hire for GMC, you have been assigned to assist a new client -Smith Shirts-a start-up business which manufactures and sells various styles of shirts. We rent production equipment that costs us $350 a week The materials for producing one shirt costs $8.00 o We believe we can sell each finished shirt for $15 each Smith Shirts would like your feedback on the following tasks... 1. How many shirts must we sell in one week if we want to break even? 7x-350 15x-8x+350 15x-8x-350 By letting the revenue equal the cost, we get x-50 as the answer X-350/7 x-50 2. If we can average 20 shirts sold per week, what will our revenue be per week? Per year? 15(20)-8(20)+350 300 510 510/300 $210 a week $210 x 52 weeks-$10,920 a year 3. Please create an Excel chart showing our profits (per year) for all possible production levels between 0 and 200 shirts per week.
