Interrelationships

Consider how laws affect society and how society affects laws. Examine the roles of the different branches of government in the development of law in Canada and how the laws affect or accommodate different groups. Consider the interactions between various sides in trials and other legal disputes.

Legal Perspective

Consider legal principles such as fairness, justice, equality, the presumption of innocence, and the rule of law when analyzing a variety of legal issues, controversies, and cases. Deepen your understanding of the role of law in balancing competing rights and freedoms.

2. Write a reflection of how you could apply these concepts to an inquiry (thinking ahead.) You should be able to make at least one connection to each of the concepts. At the same time, one of the concepts may well dominate your thinking. That is okay.

3. You do not have to explain the four legal thinking concepts, rather apply them and or make reference to them.

4. In writing your response, you must include at a minimum, one connection to each concept, however, your reflection does not have to be balanced among the four concepts.

5. This reflection should be between 3 and 6 paragraphs in length, respecting spelling, grammar, capitalization and proper sentence and paragraph structure. Include sections, such as introduction, development, and conclusion.

You can take as much time as you like and please provide great detail in the reflection as it can help me better understand to what is needed to be done.
