Hi, I have to apply the IS-LM model in the real statistics.

What statistics/data provided by government (e.g. US Census/Statistics Canada) could I use to determine whether the IS-LM model fits the real world situation or not?

Plus, how can I apply those stats to the IS-LM model?

Currently, I am planning to state two 10 year datasets, one that IS-LM not fitting in the real world (the Great Depression) and one that the model fits the real world (which 10 year period should I do).
