External financial reporting is highly regulated and any changes in the current regulatory requirements related to external reporting are bound to affect the interests of different stakeholders.

And this is Required: Critically evaluate whether these changes in regulatory requirements for external reporting will improve financial reporting as perceived by financial statement preparers and users.
