July 1 inventories are Raw Materials $5,160, Work in Process -Cutting $3,460, Work in Process Sewing $11,510, and Finished Goods $32,900. During July, the following transactions occurred. Jul i Purchased $63,420 of raw materials on account. Incurred $61,270 on factory labor. (Credit Factory Wages Payable) 3 Incurred $72,000 of manufacturing overhead; $41,850 was paid and the remainder was unpaid. 4 Requisitioned materials for Cutting $16,610 and Sewing $9,460. 5 Payroll registers shows factory labor for Cutting to be $33,580 and for Sewing to be $27,690. 6 Applied overhead at the rate of $20 per machine hour. Machine hours were Cutting 1,730 and Sewing 1,770. 7 Transferred goods costing $67,770 from the Cutting to the Sewing Department. 8 Transferred goods costing $135,950 from Sewing to Finished Goods. 9 Sold goods costing $151,670 for $202,390 on account. 10 Transfer any over- or under-applied overhead to the appropriate account. Required: Journalize the transactions and post to manufacturing T-accounts
