Hi i want to get some help with homework question
A law student was offered a job in Cleveland. He sold his studio apartment in Boston, drove to Cleveland where, for the cost of his apartment, he bought a four bedroom house in Shaker Heights. His first day at the office, all the new associates went into the conference room to meet the managing partner. The new lawyer thought it was to fill out the W-2 forms, etc. Instead, the managing partner told them that they were all fired. The firm had settled a big litigation case and didn't have enough work for their existing lawyers, never mind a whole new class of associates. Does the new lawyer have any recourse against the law firm?
