Hi -

I working on a Physics question and would be grateful for some advice please.

My assignment is to drop a pendulum and measure the time for one oscillation. I dropped a (90 cm) weighted pendulum from an angle of 110 degrees and obtained [8] results of :

1.84 2.32 2.16 2.18 2.50 2.58 2.32 2.46

These results were averaged out with a final answer of 2.30 seconds.

My question is whether or not this answer isconsistentwith the equation below - if so, why ? and if not, why not ? (and what roughly should my results be please !)

Many Thanks,

A
