HI MR/Mrs, I hope you able to solve this question, my student number ended by 4!

This dataset consists of people who have a chronic disease. Gender and age of the people are provided in the columns. Also the other columns give the information about whether they are doing sports or not, whether they are having a healthy diet or not, and whether they are smokers or not. They are given a treatment. Their lab scores before and after the treatment are given. Take alpha (significance level) as 0.05, where needed. Do every step in excel, or manually. You can use the calculator but R codes will not be accepted! For the hypothesis tests in Question 1 and Question 2: First step, write your hypothesis carefully, and in full sentences Ho : ............ . Hi: Second step, conduct your test Third step, compare your result with table Fourth step, write the result of your test, discuss the result Fifth step, indicate type-1 and type-2 errors in full sentences (For the first question, indicate them for item (a) but not item (b); For the second question, indicate them) . Question 1 (33p): Choose the one which is the last digit of your student id! 0. a. Do women have lab scores lower than 6.0 (before the treatment)? b. Do women have lab scores equal to 6.0 (before the treatment)? 0. a. Do women have lab scores lower than 6.0 (before the treatment)? b. Do women have lab scores equal to 6.0 (before the treatment)? c. Build a confidence interval for women's lab scores and show that it is in harmony with (b). 1. a. Do men have lab scores greater than 6.0 (before the treatment)? b. Do men have lab scores equal to 6.0 (before the treatment)? C. Build a 95% confidence interval for men's lab scores and show that it is in harmony with (b). 2. a. Do heathy eating people have lab scores lower than 5.5 (before the treatment)? b. Do heathy eating people have lab scores equal to 5.5 (before the treatment)? C. Build a 95% confidence interval for heathy eating people's lab scores and show that it is in harmony with (b). 3. a. Do non-heathy eating people have lab scores greater than 6.5 (before the treatment)? b. Do non-heathy eating people have lab scores equal to 6.5 (before the treatment)? c. Build a 95% confidence interval for non-heathy eating people's lab scores and show that it is in harmony with (b). b. Do people who smoke have lab scores equal to 7.0 (before the treatment)? c. Build a 95% confidence interval for lab scores of people who smoke and show that it is in harmony with (b). 8. a. Do people who are younger than 60 have lab scores lower than 5.0 (before the treatment)? b. Do people who are younger than 60 have lab scores equal to 5.0 (before the treatment)? c. Build a 95% confidence interval for lab scores of people who are younger than 60 and show that it is in harmony with (b). 9. a. Do people who are older than 60 lab scores greater than 6.5 (before the treatment)? b. Do people who are older than 60 lab scores greater than 6.5 (before the treatment)? C. Build a 95% confidence interval for lab scores of people who are older than 60 and show that it is in harmony with (b). Question 2 (25p): Does the treatment decreased their lab scores significantly? Here, do not use "lab score before treatment" and "lab score before treatment" columns. Instead, import a new column, called 'difference', which is the difference of them: "lab score after treatment - lab score before treatment". Then take your new column, and conduct your hypothesis test. Question 3 (21p): Determine hich distribution fits to the random variables: "X: smoking status", "Y:lab score before treatment" and "Z: time since diagnosis. Explain with reasons and their parameters. Unless you provide the explanation, you will not be able to get the points. So, implement the following steps for each variable: 3.a i. X is the..... ii. I expect ... distribution fits to X because X...........) iii. 3.b i. ii. Yis the..... I expect ... distribution fits to Y because Yo.........) 3.c i. ii. iii. Z is the..... I expect .... distribution fits to Z because Z .......(...) Question 4 (21p): a. Which one is more important? Type 1 or Type 2 error? b. What is power, what are the things which affects power? c.
