Hi my code is below I'm trying to figure out why I can't get it to compile and run efficently if it could be corrected please show where I have to attach names from a seperate file into the code, the language is C++ please show me where I went wrong for future reference. I feel like I'm missing something really simple, I put the question below my code
#include #include #include using namespace std; int main () { string first Name, middleName, lastName; string line; ifstream infile; ofstream outfile; infile.open ("Ch7_Ex9Data.txt"); outfile.open ("Ch7_Ex9Dataout.txt"); { while(infile, line) // Convert the name and output it to the file outfile << convertName(line) << endl; } infile.close("Ch7_Ex90Data.txt"); outfile.close("Ch7_Ex9Dataout.txt"); return 0; }
You are given a file consisting of students names in the following form: lastName, firstName middleName. (Note that a student may not have a middle name.)
Write a program that converts each name to the following form: firstName middleName lastName. Your program must read each students entire name in a variable and must consist of a function that takes as input a string, consists of a students name, and returns the string consisting of the altered name to print to the terminal. Use the string function find to find the index of ,; the function length to find the length of the string; and the function substr to extract the firstName, middleName, and lastName.
