Hi,

Need an answer as role play ( Conversation between two parties) for below two questions as per RSA - South Australia rules since the existing answer in the website is not sufficient.

Thank you

Scenario (Part 1)

You are working at a busy nightclub and have been monitoring a patron for the last hour. The patron has not ordered a single drink, but you have noticed significant changes in their behaviour since they first arrived at the venue.

They have become increasingly agitated, they have red blood shot eyes, and they are very jittery, bouncing around, and talking at a rapid pace. Another employee has mentioned that they have seen the patron enter the toilets several times since they have arrived at the venue. You start to think they could be affected by something other than alcohol, considering they have not ordered an alcoholic drink since they have arrived.Consider what may cause this type of behaviour.

Engage in a role-play with your Assessor, and demonstrate how you would refuse the sale or service of alcohol according to the scenario.

Scenario (Part 2)

It is a week later, and you are working in a different bar. You have been serving a group of people for around three (3) hours; they have been drinking at a steady rate and some are starting to show mild signs of intoxication. One patron approaches the bar and appears visibly upset. As the person orders a double vodka, lime and soda, they suddenly burst into tears. You must refuse service: demonstrate how you would talk to the patron, showing how your approach would differ from previous refusals, using communication techniques that are appropriate for the situation.

Remember, a patron who is experiencing emotional distress is unlikely to make appropriate choices concerning their health and safety.
