HI, PLEASE MAKE A CONCLUSION BASED ON THIS YAA. As for the Employment of Children and Young Person, it referred to The Employment of Children and Young Person (Employment) Act 1966 [Act 350]. In this Act, it contains the rules and conditions for the employer to employ children or young persons. In Peninsular Malaysia, the employment of children and young persons is governed by the Children and Young Person (Employment) Act 1966, while in Sabah and Sarawak, it is governed by the Sabah Labour Ordinance and Sarawak Labour Ordinance respectively. A child is restricted to doing light work that is suitable with his capacity in his family's undertaking. This is because the child cannot do any hard work, especially labour work since their body is still not strong enough to do this sort of working and they must work with their parents since they are still under age. A child must not work between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. And they may be permitted to rest for 30 minutes after they have been working for three consecutive hours of work so that they will get enough rest to continue their work. A child must not work for more than 6 hours per day. They also did not have any permit to work at night since it would be dangerous to them. As for the young person, they should do work that is suitable to his capacity, but it is not necessarily in a family business. This is to make sure that the young person did not do any labour work and they need to find a suitable work that suitable with their age. They can work in any office, shop, cinema, club, factory and many other working places other than hotel, bar, restaurant, or a club for a girl unless their parents control this kind of organization. This is to prevent them from any dangers that may happen to them while working, especially any sexual harassment at the workplace. The young person is not permitted to work between 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. since it is their time to rest their body. Other than that, they are entitled to take a rest break of at least 30 minutes every four hours to get a rest before continuing doing their job. They are also restricted to work more than 7 hours in one day. The restrictions for them on the night work will not be applied to if they are employed in any public entertainment or the agricultural sector like farming, fisheries, livestock, and also forestry
