Hi,
Please respond to this post:
Is government intervention in the free market via monetary policy overall positive or negative towards the economy?
The government has a long history of removing the curtain behind the invisible hand. Since the founding of the United States there has been intervention in the form of subsidies, tax breaks, taxes, and more recently price ceilings and price floors. Bills like the new deal, Wall Street bail out, and more recently the COVID-19 relief package all have supporters and detractors. Should the government intervene in the economy and if so how much is too much?
