I need to respond to my classmate discussion below:

I think that if you're working unpaid times, then you shouldn't be considered employed. I would change that standard because people who are employed are getting compensated for it. In my opinion, if you're working without getting anything for it then it's considered volunteering. The standard said, "At least 15 hours of unpaid work" and I interpreted that as if you were to work 10 hours of unpaid time, then you're unemployed. Then, the more you work unpaid, the more you're classified as employed, and that makes no sense to me. I would change that to if you're working unpaid time only, then you're unemployed.
The article says to be classified in the labor force you have to be "working or actively seeking work". I disagree with this because I think to be in the labor force, you should be actively working. I would change this to say that being in the labor force means you're actively working. If you're looking for work, then you're not out and about actually doing work, so I don't think that should be counted as "in the labor force".
