Hi there! using the R software I am supposed to create an object vector named age that is the difference between 2009 (the year the data were collected) and birthyear.

I just don't know what equation I am supposed to use in order to get the age of the person participating in the survey, I know I need to do 2009 - the persons birth year, but the issue I'm running into is birth year is a column in a data set. So I am just stuck on how to go about doing it.
