If the source of light is a distance x to the left of the screen, a distance d above the mirror, and the source is monochromatic light of wavelength 2, write down the equation(s) needed to solve for y, the distance in meters to the first bright spot at P. Your equation(s) should only contain, y, d, x and 2. Do not solve the equation(s). Hint: pretend the source is really a distance d below the mirror on the line drawn from P to the source as shown then find the path difference from these two sources.
