Hi this question requires me to write the research topic within 1 page. Can you help me out?

1) Research topic

2) Why you chose this topic (personal interest, for a group member's employer, etc.)

Step 1: Choosing a Topic

Choose a topic based on something you find interesting. Project should be doable in 3-4 months. Do not try to solve problems that cannot be solve in this semester. Grades depend on how whether to complete or not.

Company Projects: If you are working, could your current employer or another organization benefit from research on a particular problem/opportunity they are facing? How might information on your company's customers, competitors, products or services be helpful? Is there information that would help the company increase business/sales?

College Interest Projects: Often special-interest groups or professional organizations on campus are good candidates for research projects. Examples include sports leagues, campus business services, the health center, dining facilities, academic clubs, etc. Are students aware of the existence of the product/service? What is the image or perceptions of these organizations? How might these organizations improve their products or services? Could this group benefit from the addition of a new program or service?

Personal Interests: Are there any particular areas in business you find interesting? Have you often thought that certain information on a particular topic would be interesting to know? Are you thinking about starting your own business and would like to find out whether consumers would be interested in your product/service?

Current Events: Are there any public policy issues that you find interesting? Legalization of marijuana, smoking at young age, 'Juul'ing/Vaping, fake news, why do some people spend time on internet commenting on news/videos (trolling) etc. Covid-19 and how the lockdown has changed behavior (think of tp hoarding etc.). Mask wearing, vaccination, and other hot topics that might be relevant for govt. and general public. Will we go back to pre Covid-19 behavior? Or are there any aspects which won't change? Will you travel to exotic places or small towns once lockdown orders are lifted?

Choose Wisely!! Try to sell the idea to me, and justify why it is important to the firm/government/yourself. If you are not convinced that a topic is worth pursuing, then do not try to convince others.

Project to Diversify Provincial Motorcycle Coalition 2022

Organizational Description: XXXX* is the voice of Manitoba's motorcycle riders with all levels of government and with Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI). XXXX is the official Intervener for motorcyclists at the Public Utilities Board (PUB) representing motorcyclists unique concerns and interests. The XXXX has achieved significant insurance rate reductions through our representations. We also promote motorcycle safety, training and awareness in collaboration with the Provincial Government, Winnipeg Police, Manitoba Safety Services, City of Winnipeg and MPI. XXXX was instrumental in initiating the Mandatory Motorcycle Training Program and its recommendations were incorporated into the graduated licensing program. XXXX is a non-profit, membership-based ($25/year) organization with groups, riding clubs, motorcycle businesses and individuals contributing membership fees to maintain a very small administrative budget that essentially keeps the basic business of the organization running. There are also a few initiatives that promote women's riding and safety awareness (including an annual motorcycle rally at the provincial legislature). XXXX also has an affiliation with Motorcycle Confederation of Canada (MCC)**, a national motorcycling organization. There are over 15,000 registered motorcycles in Manitoba.

Membership profile: The typical membership riding club is a group of riders and passengers who go on planned rides most of the summer weekends and some weekday evenings. Motorcycle clubs also participate in charity fundraisers for local charities and causes; eg, St. Amant fundraising ride, Breast Cancer Ride, Ride for Dad etc. Many but not all Manitoba riding groups or clubs are members of XXXX although the organization was organized 30 years ago and many XXXX members tend to from the original group. While male riders are still in the majority, more and more female riders are getting their licenses and riding. Motorcycling can be a costly interest requiring a motorcycle, safety gear, special insurance and money / time to travel and money to cover traveling costs (food, lodging, gas, oil, repairs, incidentals).
