I am confused about Tier 1 & 2 capital in the BASEL III. I know the definition of Tier 1 & 2 capital but I do not know to identify. Can you guys please give me some tips? For example, does government securities, mortgage loans, commercial loans, or any other assets belong to Tier 2 capital? Does off-balance sheet asset belong to Tier 2 capital?
