Hi,

What's the basic math to reallocate a percentage of something like the partner ship below?

A partner leaves and gives up his 40%. Apparently it's reallocated to the other partners so that Hardin who had 30% now has 60% (or 3/5) and Roth who had 20% now has 40% (or 2/5). Or 3:2.

Can you show me the math on how to reallocate these percentage? Thank you.

After 64k there's 36k left. Before this capital was 40k. Have to take that and allocate to 36k remaining. Hardin 30% become 60% (3/5) Roth 20% becomes 40% (2/5) typo of week Bonus method means total capital can't change Look at as if 100k pie used to be 60, 15, 25. If take same 100k remove 64k have to allocate remaining 4k as reduction to others capital. =c4/i1-0.4) J | Sheet'l i Sheet2 Sheet3
