You are the head of your local police department and are in the process of interviewing and hiring a new group of recruits. Several of the candidates have scored high on comprehension and cognitive thinking abilities -- in other words, they have high IQ's. There are several more candidates who have lower cognitive thinking scores (IQs), but they interviewed well and appear to have a high level of emotional intelligence.
