Historically closely regulated industries or businesses have traditionally been subject to search without a warrant. Administrative searches of ordinary, commercial, manufacturing or industrial buildings are conducted under somewhat different standards when compared to buildings and structures of closely regulated businesses and industries Should the 4th amendment apply differently to one type of business than another type of commercial endeavor? Should the 4th amendment mean the same thing for everyone and every business why or why not
