Throughout the subject, students have been given the opportunity to explore the relevant theories in both historical and current contexts. You will need to select at least two (2) examples of well-known successful individual women/or female sports teams in male-dominated sports. 1. Compare and contrast your 2 (two) chosen examples from the perspective of women's sport. 2. Referring to at least 2 (two) relevant theories and/or contemporary commentary, and at least 4 (four) academic references discuss the impact of gender on the experience of your chosen examples. 3. Research the relevant governing bodies and discuss the current and proposed future policies, any relevant data to create a more equitable workplace environment for female athletes.

Assessment Instructions

 You MUST discuss your chosen examples with your facilitator before you begin. Using a report format, include the following components:

 • Introduction

• Compare and contrast your 2 (two) chosen examples from the perspective of women's sport

 • Discuss the impact of gender on the experience of your chosen examples.

 • Referring to the relevant governing bodies, discuss the current and proposed future policies, any relevant data to create a more equitable workplace environment for female athletes?  

• Conclusion  

• Reference List (using the Harvard Referencing Convention throughout your report and reference list at the end)

You should refer to at least (2) two theories to support your discussion and the use of at least 4 (four) academic references. While many of your references will rely on the organization's/team's publicity website, you cannot use this as your only source of information. You may include graphs, charts, and pictures, which do not contribute to your overall word limit.
