HL130: Hospitality Business Training and Development -Portfolio Part 3
For each course in your Hospitality Leadership (BHL) program, you will create four chapters of a hospitality leadership guidebook that reflects the focus of each course in the Hospitality Leadership program. The purpose of the portfolio is to explain and provide information to hospitality industry leaders who can reference and make use of it to become more effective leaders.
The most important thing you can provide a new employee is proper training. The employee who goes through proper training can provide the guest with a higher level of service and will work for the organization for a longer period.
In Portfolio Part3 you will need to:
- Create a list of the objectives to be accomplished from the employee training.
- Create a training plan outlining in detail all areas to be covered.
- Create a two-week schedule (10 shifts) for training (list the shift, what training topic(s) will be covered, who will conduct training, and any follow up meetings.
