Home Exercise on Composition and capacity of Board of directors

Obtain Annual reports of four listed companies, study their Board's composition and prepare chart showing for all four the following:

a.The type of board it has in terms of tenure;

b. in terms of levels or tiers;

c. How many directors are there:

1)On the basis of shareholding alone

2) representative of Government / regulatory authority;

3) Lenders nominees;

4) on their expertise basis and

5) as representative of minority s holders, society, etc

d) Number of meetings in the year

Finally, Analyze and discuss the strengths and weaknesses.
