Honestly, the hardest part about doing this research has been setting up the interviews. I thought because I work for a hospital organization, I would be able to find candidates easily. It was a struggle in the beginning, but I had to be persistent and keep on top of some of the providers and their schedules. After doing several interviews, I have noticed a few things. The first thing that surprised me was that some woman interviewed were not so comfortable answering the questions about their age. I had to reassure them that the interview was strictly confidential because their names would not be used in the study, and that question was a part of the requirement for the research project. I also discovered how open the participants were with their answers. For example, one of the questions I asked was, How involved is management engaged with the quality control of their employees? A director answered very bluntly and stated, "Management needs to be very involved, but often are overworked themselves and cannot properly manage their team."
