Submit the assignment through Blackboard on the due date by the beginning of class. Late assignments will be subject to a deduction in marks (10% per day). Assignment: For the event that your group is planning: 1. Select 2 venues that would be appropriate to host the event. The venues must be either situated in Toronto or within the Greater Toronto Area. Research these two venues online. Include the respective URLs. Where is each venue situated? Provide a description of each venue and include information about the services and/or amenities offered. List the advantages and disadvantages of both venues (this can be presented in chart format). For the description, think about what information the clients will require about the venue. 2. From these 2 venues that have been identified, select one venue that is the most appropriate and explain the process that the client followed to select the venue and provide information (or a rationale) which supports the venue selection. Please ensure that the selection of the venue is related to what the client wantseeds for the respective event. 3. Include appropriately labelled photos of the venue. 4. Prepare a site inspection checklist for a site visit of the chosen venue (with a minimum of 10 items) for the event and submit the completed checklist with your assignment.
