Housing Market AnalysisPart 1: Descriptive Statistics

Suppose you are assisting a business looking to relocate to Dallas Fort-Worth. Housing for their workforce is a major consideration for the city they will choose to locate. The business has narrowed its search to three cities: Allen, Plano, and Wylie. The organization has asked you to provide a data analysis on the housing market in these cities.

Download the Collin Central Appraisal District data set (found here Download found here), which includes a sample of homes in the three cities built since 2011. Create a report that provides descriptive statistics, data visualizations, and a written analysis of following two variables: living area (square feet) and market value.

1. Calculate the mean, standard deviation, and the sample size for the two variables for two of the cities of your choice.
2. Create a table of the frequency and relative frequency of each variable for each of the two cities. Use the bin widths identified below.
   1. Living Area: 4 bins with a width of 1,000 square feet. Frequency and relative frequency of homes with less than 2,000 SF, 2,000 - 3,000 SF, 3,000 - 4,000 SF, more than 4,000 SF.
   2. Market Value: 5 bins with a width of $100,000. Frequency and relative frequency of homes with a market value less than $300,000, $300,000 - $400,000, $400,000 - $500,000, $500,000 - $600,000, greater than $600,000.
3. Using the data generated in Step 2, create two frequency histograms, one for each variable, comparing the frequency for each of the two cities.
4. Using the data generated in Step 2, create two relative frequency histograms, one for each variable, comparing the relative frequency for each of the two cities.

Deliverable - a typed, 12-point, double-spaced Word document containing the following:

1. Executive Summary summarizing key findings and preparing the reader for the supporting analysis. Includes explanation of dataset and main results, conclusions or recommendations from the report.
