How can I make a response on Morgan's prompt?: Task load can be split into high-load tasks and low-load tasks. The difference between these are determined by processing capacity and perceptual load. In low-load tasks there is a low perceptual load and use up a small portion of a persons' processing capacity. High-load tasks have a large perceptual load and use up a larger percentage of a persons' processing capacity. In the first half of the prompt, the quarterback is engaging in a low-load task. This is because there is less stimuli, so it is using less of his processing capacity. He is able to take in all of the different stimuli (available receivers) and throw to the most optimal choice. In the second scenario, the quarterback is faced with a high-load task. He is being forced to take in a lot of different stimuli when he is being rushed, which leaves less resources to process the receiver that is out of his immediate line of sight. The panic he would feel would be expained by the lack of immediate receptors and the pressure of time. In this situation, he would have to process quickly and would result in losing
