The company's supply chain strategy has been moving towards sustainability for many years now. They have reduced water usage in 18 production facilities and globally and have 15 true zero-waste manufacturing sites. Throughout the pandemic we all saw how supply chains were affected, we all experienced shortages of products and empty shelves at stores. I would have to say that the most important thing I learned in this course was the importance of communication throughout the entire supply chain. We learned how we can implement communication and efficiency with technology, using systems such as ERP, CRM, and APS. It would have been difficult for businesses to be completely prepared for the pandemic, however, maintaining communication was how a lot of businesses were able to sustain and maintain operations
