how can i respond to my peers discussion on A study on the bed alarms for patients who are a flight risk/fall risk. Null Hypothesis

how can i respond to my peers discussion on A study on the bed alarms for patients who are a flight risk/fall risk. Null Hypothesis (H0)- There is no change in the injuries associated with falls with the placement of bed alarms. Alternative Hypothesis (H1)- The number of injuries drastically decreased with the placement of bed alarms. Variable- The number of patients who had alarms placed to the patients who did not. My guess- My guess would be that the number of injuries would decrease with the use of bed alarms as it would bring more attention with the high pitched alarm when they are used. Results: If the null hypothesis is rejected, that means that the number of falls or flight risks has been diminished in a numbers. This would show that the productive end of using bed alarms is the right thing to do. If the alternative hypothesis is rejected it would be that the bed alarms showed no improvement over the number of injuries, and a new plan must be put in place
