How can I respond to this post? For a job, I would choose the second option, a product buyer at Sunshine Medical Office. I specifically chose this option because they used the Line and staff organizational structure and I feel that the description is most compatible with my work style. Having the line structure chain of command can be very beneficial when making decisions. Especially if there are specialists who help the line managers. This organizational structure advantage seems to be more disciplined at making decisions since it is directly related to staff performance. Each department can have its specific role while line higher-ups make executive decisions and staff will make the decisions that contribute to helping the higher-ups. A disadvantage could be that it can cause confusion for a line of authority since both are able to make decisions. Also, another disadvantage would be the conflict that can happen when the line and staff have a disagreement. Both being able to make decisions eventually can cause some disagreements and those conflicts can cause multiple problems for the growth of a company
