how can i respond to this post from a microeconomic standpoint using one peer reviewed reference with citation?

I made a choice, recently, to return to college. By no means am I starting out in, or restarting, my career. I am in a comfortable position. I'm twenty nine years old and have made my way into the upper middle class, I have a job that pays well and I receive very good benefits. Many in my position would be perfectly happy in this position. I am not. My decision to further my education now was something that I thought about for a long time. I had to factor in the opportunity cost. In coming back to school I would be losing a lot of free time. This coming at a rather stressful period in my life. If I didn't come back what would I be losing? My employer offers a very good tuition reimbursement program, and the opportunity to build my own company and diversify my revenue streams proved to be an opportunity I could not pass up. The incentive was there. To be able to move past the current position I am in and build something with the potential to last generations.

The potential costs were high too. I had multiple family members sick and the lack of free time and added stress to perform in class could prove too much for me to handle. Nonetheless here I am. The simple cost benefit analysis led me here, working toward opportunity.
