How can I use a for loop to iterate through a list and then print a certain thing based on an if statement inside the for loop in this code? I think this code works fine on Python 2.7 but if I had to add a loop and an if statement here without changing the results, what should I do? This is about a small program that I made to count the scores on a football game.

def count_scores(score_list):

td = score_list.count(6)

ep = score_list.count(1)

tpc = score_list.count(2)

fg = score_list.count(3)

print("The team scored "+str(td)+" touchdowns, "+str(ep)+" extra points, "+str(tpc)+" two-point conversions, and "+str(fg)+" field goals.")
