How do an individual's experiences in Bronfenbrenner's macrosystem impact their views on or practices surrounding death? - An individual's experience can affect how they decide to accept and choose to react to death based off cultural beliefs. Americans believe there is a heaven and a hell, they also believe in reincarnation. Americans also believe in angels once a person dies; They believe that the person will become your angel and watch over you. Some Americans also consult mediums to still have contact with the dead. Chinese believe death is natural and a part of life. Chinese relate to death based off their origins and whatever group they belong to and what they practice. (Example: Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism). Both cultures in a way believe in life after death and certain Chinese cultures celebrate death the same way as Americans. Chinese however are more accepting to death as it is very natural to them while Americans can have a hard time dealing with it. Bronfenbrenner's macrosystem relates to emotional intelligence.
