How do I calculate earnings per share for both years using these financial statements? The formula we are using for EPS is (net income - preferred dividends/ weighted average number of common shares outstanding). To calculate the weighted average number of shares, I know I am supposed to calculate (common stock - treasury stock) for both 2019 and 2020, then add the totals together and divide by 2. If someone can further guide me on what to do, that will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
