How do I determine what a company's major uses of cash are by looking at the cash flow statement? I know it is broken down into three primary sections, operating activities, investing activities, and financing activities. But I don't understandhow to readwhat the company is putting their money back into.

The example I am looking at is Apple.

I know that their operating activities have decreased from 2016 to 2017but then increasedin 2018.

I know that investing activities have also increased from 2017 to 2018

and I know their financing activities have decreased from 2017 to 2018.
